My goal in life is to become an oncologist, and the next step in the process is college. I want to be able to play in college while also getting a masters degree in cellular biology, possibly double majoring in biomedical engineering. Hard work has gotten me to this point. I am driven in obtaining a strong, reliable education, and lacrosse is a tool to help me get there. I recently got some more inspiration to achieve my goals. My friend and a member of the high school team suddenly passed away this October. His passing has made me more driven to achieve my goals and play lacrosse in college. Since he didn't get to achieve his goals and aspirations, I wanted to achieve mine knowing that is what he would have wanted me to do. Also, I am now playing lacrosse for him because his legacy as a player must continue on.
