Kevin Geiger '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am Kevin Geiger and ever since third grade I could never drop my goalie stick or come out of the goal. My love for the sport is un-breakable and my life lives the brightest whenever i put my gear on and know I will give it all. My mom is the one who sparked my interest for the sport, she played on the Women's U.S. lacrosse team for 3 years and was an alternate to head to Australia in the 80's for a World Cup. I am always very thankful because she helped to teach me in my beginning years.This year, I managed to get a save percentage of about 56% at the end of our season with 159 saves this year as well. I am always thankfu for the chances I get to show what I can do to my coaches and friends. My goals and aspirations are to be the best player possible and to be the best student-athlete possible. I am always a hard worker and will always put up great competition against others. I have a great amount of dedication to the sport and I am constantly playing it year-round. I am constantly training in the off-season and plan to get more agile while in the goal every year. I am also a volunteer goalie coach for middle school goalies seeking to get better. I absolutely love opportunities to help teach someone some thing that I have learned from others and make them successful too. I hope one day I could get the chance to go where I want and have the ability to be the most successful I can possibly be.
