Jon Diamond '13 Recruiting Profile

I have now earned 12 varsity letters during my 4 years in High school for  lacrosse, wrestling and football and was  selected to the 1st team ,All State, 1st team All Conference and 1st team All Division this past season for lacrosse and was a captain for the school's Lacrosse, Wrestling and Football teams this past year. .

As a senior and the team's starting face off player, I also won approximately 75% of my F/O's, including play against some of  the best teams in the state ( Mountain Lakes, Kinnelon,  Rumson, West Essex, Caldwell, Madison and  Haddonfield). For 2013, 2012 and 2011, our team won its conference championship each year and for 2012, I was also selected All State, Hon Men; and for 2012 & 2011 selected All Conference, 1st Team; All Division, 1st Team & selected to the Star Ledger's All State Team for Sophomores.  I am proud to be a part of our lacrosse program's success and proud to have given 110% effort to a coach, whom I respect and whom I would run through a wall to protect.

I have also been selected All Conference & All Division, 1st Team for football and our team won its conference championship in 2012 and 2011. I also placed 3rd in the counties as a varsity wrestler at 170 pounds.  I also look forward to giving that same sense of heart, courage and energy to my college coaches. I am an extremely coachable player who has given each coach and each team 110 % heart, energy and effort. I promise to leave everything I have on the field and promise never to quit on myself, my coach or my teammates. Equally important, I am a B+/A- student with a 3.51 GPA in a great public school and I look forward to playing lacrosse in an academically challenging school setting.
