Colton Clarke '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5' 11", 190 pounds. I run a 4.9 forty yard dash and have a 25" vertical. I have been in my High Schools wieght training class (Bigger Faster Stronger) for five years and am in my Schools Power Clean Strength Club (225 lbs.) and the Squat Strength Club (425 lbs).
2011 was my third year playing Club Lacrosse. I have been nominated as Captain in 2010 and 2011. As a sophmore I was nominated for All Conference and was MBSLA's 4th place player with 95 groundballs out of 13 games.  In 2011 as a junior I was named on the MBSLA All State Team as a defensive player, along with 1st All Conference Team as a defense player. In 11 games I received  1st place in MBSLA's groundballs category with 116 ground balls . 
 As a team captain, and pride myself on leading by example with hardwork, sportsmanship, and versatility. I devote my offseason to working on areas that I lacked in the prior season, I try to work with teamates rather than alone to build chemistry and trust between my teamates and myself. I feel that a team without trust is bound to defeat itself. Ever since the first time I picked up a lacrosse stick I had hopes of being able to play in a college level atmosphere. I am willing to attend any college within the United States, other than that geographic location is not a very large factor to me. When it comes to school size and division level I am open to all different types of schools. However I want to attend a school that values its' education. I am also looking at majoring in Physical Therapy or Sports Medicine. When it comes to my goals athletically would be to be able to play as a freshman, contribute to the team, make an impact on and off the field, and play on a competative playing field.
