I want to play lacrosse at the collegiate level because it is an engaging sport that requires a high level of technique and athleticism. I enjoy challenges and handle pressure well. I would be a good fit on a college lacrosse team because I am a hard working and strong leader. I learn quickly from my coaches, and play the game with respect for my teammates and coaches. I am a longstick defender that is strong and fast on his feet. I enjoy taking attackmen one on one, and was renowned as a shutdown defensemen by my coach. As a sophomore I made the high school varsity lacrosse name. This was a great opportunity because it gave me a head start on playing against faster, stronger, and more challenging lacrosse players. At the end of the season my team was awarded for having the highest GPA in the state. So not only do I value my athletics, but I care about my grades as well.
