Dear Coach,
My name is Vaughn Wahlberg. I attend Saint Johns High school in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. I am currently in my junior year. I have been playing lacrosse on an organized team since first grade. I aspire to attend a four year college and to do what I love, play lacrosse, at the same time. I am a great leader on and off the field. My natural ability to see the field allows me to find the open man and make the smart pass. I am very hard working and I will not stop until I reach my goal. In the classroom I maintain straight A's with a few B's. I take all honors and AP classes. I have been on the honor roll for all four terms. In addition to lacrosse, I currently play hockey. This has helped my physicality as well as my stamina. I also ran track for two years. I ran the 100 meter sprint and went to states two years in a row. This has increased my speed which has improved my lacrosse skills. I feel that I have all of the qualities of a successful collegiate athlete and I hope that you will give me the opportunity to show this to you.
