Personal Statement
Hello my name is Eric Jackson. I am looking to attend a university where I can play lacrosse for division I, division II or division III with a wide variety of majors.
I currently attend Archbishop Curley High School and will graduate in 2014. I am enrolled in Honors and AP courses and have received first honors every quarter for my freshmen, sophomore, junior years. I am currently in my senior year. I enjoy the challenge and competition that my classes offer. I am looking into business related occupations; however I am currently undecided on a major.
My goals for college lacrosse are to be a starter by my junior year and a major contributor to the team and the university. I am currently 5 foot 10, 170 lbs. and training daily to improve my conditioning and skills. I am a left handed goal keeper that has been playing since 2004. Currently I play for Coach John Tucker at Archbishop High School and Coach Aaron Stubbs for The Premier Chesapeake Rock Lacrosse Club 2014. I am a captain for the club team and bring a great sense of leadership to the team, for example, I lead the stretches before games as well as organize line drills for warm ups to help assist the coaches keeping the team focused.
I will be an asset to any University academically and athletically. I will continue to excel in my classes and strengthen my skills as a goalie through my high school years and throughout my college years.
