Cody Tranbarger '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cody Tranbarger. I am a currently a junior and the starting goalkeeper for Trinity High School's varsity lacrosse team. I also play for 3D Select (CO.) club team. I am currently 5'11 and weigh 200 pounds. I aspire play lacrosse in college. I am looking for an outstanding academic school with a competitive lacrosse program.  I do not have much preference when it comes to location, but I would like attend a school in the Northeast or West regions of the country.  Academically, I will have many options, as I have maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA and rank in 3rd of my class of 333. I have many things to offer to your lacrosse program. I am a hard worker. Through my hard work, I was able to overcome the senior goalkeeper ahead of me to obtain the starting position as a sophomore. This realization that hard work pays off has only encouraged me to keep working hard on and off the field. I am also a leader. I do my best to encourage and guide my teammates. I love being part of the team. I have received many accolades throughout my high school career. Academically, I received the Monsignor Alfred W. Steinhauser Scholarship Award and the Sophomore Advanced Program Book Awards for English and Geometry from my high school. I am also involved in my school's Y-Club, Beta Club, and National Honor Society.  Athletically, I was selected to be an Adidas Underclassmen All-American in 2011, was voted my high school teams Most Improved Player in 2011, and was chosen as the number 1 goalie at the 2012 Chicago Showcase.  I am a hard worker, a leader, and I would be a great addition to your team!
