My goal is to get a college degree and also play lacrosse in college. Having coaches and teammates with good character is more important to me than the name of the college or the team's record. During my first two years of high school, I played both football and lacrosse, while taking a heavy academic course load and maintaining a 3.25/4.0 GPA. Harrison High School has only had a lacrosse team for three years and I have been the starting goalie for every varsity game. While only a Sophomore, I was elected to be one of four captains of the varsity team. I was elected captain again as a Junior. I was also voted Team MVP for the 2016 Season and nominated to represent my team in the IHSLA East/West All-Star Showcase.
In 2015, my team, the Wm. Henry Harrison Raiders, had the fifth best team Goals Against Average in the state, according to laxpower.com. Here is the link. In 2016 we had the 7th best team Goals Against Average in the state, and I had a 62% Save Percentage.
I believe that my leadership ability, character, discipline and faith are all just as important to my lacrosse game as my skill as goalie. I believe that these characteristics, plus my ability to put team ahead of self, make me a good addition for any team.
