I am looking forward to attending a four year university to study civil and environmental engineering. I want to find a school that will prepare me for the engineering field and a career I will enjoy. I strive to challenge myself to succeed and broaden my experiences and opportunities. I plan on being a leader on and off the lacrosse field. I'm looking forward to getting involved in a college community and meeting people from all walks of life.
As a team player I like to be a leader. I believe stepping up for the team is important because a team needs to have strong leadership and chemistry to be successful. On the field, I am always pushing myself to learn more about my position and to give a perfect effort. I'm a hardworking player and a hard working student off the field. I knew I wanted to become an engineer since my freshman year in high school. I am driven to excel in all my math and science courses so that I can be admitted into college.
Leadership and chemistry are important in the community as well. I try to take these traits into some of my volunteer efforts. As an active member in my church and a service group called Appalachian Service Project (ASP), I enjoy serving others and believe that it's important to give back.
