Hello,
My name is Connor Florich. I am currently a rising senior at Newsome High School in Lithia FL. I first played lacrosse at age 9, returned to baseball since lacrosse was not offered in the area and then picked the sport back up at age 13. I have been competing full time in lacrosse for the past four years and I am interested in continuing to play at the college level. My primary position is attack and I have also played middie. I play club lacrosse for West Florida, the only program in the Tampa area with college coaches and this summer will also be traveling to events with the Florida Lacrosse Alliance. I was used strictly at Middie during my Sophomore high school season and moved back to attack my Junior year.
My interests beyond high school center around Marine Biology, and Environmental Science. Academically, I am a strong student with an unweighted GPA in the 3.2 range and I currently take mostly AP and Honors classes. I scored an 1160 on my initial SAT and plant to retake in the fall to improve my scores.
My parents are Bob and Lori Florich and I have two older brothers, one which is currently a student athlete at Rutgers University - Camden. I have a strong family support system that emphasizes academics and strong character and values.
