Shawn Casebolt '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Shawn Casebolt, I am a junior at Westminster High School, located in Westminster Colorado. I attend Westminster High School but due to my high school not having lacrosse I can play for the closest high school to me which is Lakewood High School.  From when I started playing, to the start of my high school career I played for the Broomfield Bobcats, in which my team won state one year and took runner up the following year. For the two years that I have played in high school I have started each of the teams I made, JV Frshman year, and Varsity Sophomore year. This past summer I attended a camp called The Face Off Academy, focused on making athletes better face off guys at the X. I focus on training everyday so that I can become stronger and faster. I am always looking for the open man on the field, and always looking for that well-earned win coming from that open man and teamwork. FOr the upcoming season my goal is to become a team captain to help improve my team as well as myself as a leader. I have always been an honorable and respectful team leader, on and off the field encouraging students to keep their grades up to keep on playing. I like to put as much if not more time into school as I do sports. I am an excellent student athlete and I always make sure that school comes first, so that I can achieve and be able to set high standards for myself. With that I would like to point out that my current unweighted GPA is a 3.833, and I am currently ranked 6th out of 613 kids in my class. I am looking to extend being a great leader on and off the field through my college career. My biggest goal right now is to become a college student and athlete, I want to push myself to be the best that I can be and to encourage others to do the same.
