Personal Statement

My name is Dylan Stanton and I am a 2016 graduate of Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I earned a varsity letter as a freshman, and became a varsity starter as a sophomore. I have been playing lacrosse since 6th grade, and it has become my main focus. As an ex-football and -basketball athlete, I have competed at all sorts of levels with several different teams. Currently, the only sport I play is lacrosse. My main club team is the High Altitude Lacrosse Organization (HALO). As an affiliate of Colorado College (DIII), I have had excellent access to phenomenal coaching, facilities, and teammates. I take pride in my academic success and currently carry a 4.3GPA as a rising senior. I am enrolled in all honors and AP classes, and also am a member of National Honors Society. I plan on playing lacrosse in college, at the highest level possible. I have been told by several coaches that I have DI potential, and I plan on honing my skills even further throughout my upcoming year of high school. My passion is sports medicine, and I hope to pursue a major in that area of study. While I may be tied close to home, I also want to explore the possibility of playing on the east coast so that I can experience the culture of lacrosse to a greater extent than the "hot bed" of Colorado has to offer. I am willing to talk to any colleges who believe I am a good fit for their team, no matter what division or level they play at. Ideally, I want to be on the field as much as possible. I consider myself to be a leader and I would prefer playing time, rather than rallying my team from the bench. However, I am a team player and will do whatever it takes to make sure my team is successful.

Thank you for your time and please contact me if you feel I am a good fit for your team.

  • TrainAtEds.com http://www.facebook.com/EdsGym?fref=ts After working with my lacrosse team during the spring season, I continued at Ed's Gym in order to prepare for the next season. After an injury that took me out of the gym, I have put on 25lbs in 7 months of lean muscle. Working at this gym has prepared me more than ever to be a threat on the field.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
