Owen Weselak '14 Recruiting Profile

I love lacrosse. I begged my mother to let me play in third grade and I have been playing ever since. I am a rising junior, so my first goal is to help my High School team win a championship this Spring. Since my freshman year, I have been the number one faceoff specialist on my high school team. My personal goal for the upcoming season will be to win at least 75 percent of my face offs and to be a leader on my team. After high school, I would love to continue my lacrosse career at a college with a strong business school and on a team where hard work trumps individual skills. I have never played for a coach that hasn't said I was the hardest working member of the team. This year, I was awarded the George Boiardi Award, which my high school coaches give to the most dedicated member of the team. It was an honor to receive this award and I hope I will always do what it takes to bring honor to the Boiardi Family.
