Mitchell Walinski '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard worker that always strives to do my best on the ice and in the class room.  I would be a great candidate for a college team because I have great vision on the ice and I have the ability to finish the play.  I am different from other recruits because I maintain my school work while being able to maintain my game and do things off the ice to continue to develop my skills.  I work hard to set up plays and to put the puck in the net.  I have wanted to play collegiate hockey since the first day of high school when I knew that my dream could possibly come true.  If I were able to aspire to these goals, I would be very happy, as would my family, because they are the ones that helped get me to where I am. Every thing that I have accomplished to this point is because I have worked hard to develop my skills as an athlete and maintain my high academic standards.  I intend to continue to work as hard as I possibly can to make my collegiate hockey dream come true.
