Ryan Kleber '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Kleber. I live in Chaska, MN. My family spends a lot of time at hockey rinks but when we aren’t we enjoy time at home together, as well as taking summer trips. My family has a strong work ethic. My parents have taught me to value many things and always look beyond the surface. I have a younger brother who also plays hockey.

I love playing and watching hockey!!! I have played hockey since I was 5. I first wore a pair of skates at age one. I have played on a number of different hockey teams and have skated with many different hockey players over the years. I like to take risks in practice so that I can be prepared for game situations.

Hockey is a big part of my life along with school, family, and religion. I am a freshman at Chaska High School. I am excited to be attending a new school and starting a new chapter in my life. I really enjoy school. I am a strong, disciplined player and student. I understand how important academics are and how they will help me achieve my ultimate goals. My grades have been A’s and B’s. I have worked hard to achieve my current GPA of 3.71. I am really intrigued by history and politics along with military, law enforcement, architecture and agriculture. I am working on my third year of Spanish this school year.

I enjoy building wood projects. I have built things like a shed, chair, bench and a picture frame. I am currently a brown belt in karate.

I played spring/summer AAA hockey for ‘03 Minnesota Machine. I currently play on the Chaska (MN) High School's JV hockey team and I am the only freshman on the team.  I am also excited about the opportunity to play junior hockey and further develop my hockey skills so that I can play college hockey.
