I have been a hockey player since I was 4 years old. I love it and have worked very hard over my lifetime to continue to improve my skills. My goal is to play Division I hockey and go as far as I can. I am a leader and a good teammate. I have been fortunate to have had good coaching over the past several years and feel that I have done a good job developing my skills. I feel that my strengths as a defenseman is my hard hitting, blocking shots, accurate point shots and keeping offensive players off the puck in the defensive zone. In 2011 I was drafted to the Erie Otters during the OHL draft in the 12th round, however, at this time I would like to follow a path to college hockey.
I am a 3.7 GPA student and feel that my studies and school are equally as important to me as my hockey. I work hard both on and off the ice and am motivated to continue to improve as a hockey player.
