Brett Romkey '12 Recruiting Profile

Three word to describe myself provided by Webster's dictionary:Sacrifice, Obligation and Responsible. First Sacrifice-" a surrender of something of value as a means of gaining something more desirable and of preventing some evil". I have kept in my mind that something that I love to do could be taken away by one inappropriate action. Next Obligation-"a binding promise, contract or sense of duty".  I have organized my life the promise and committment to do my best at every turn. Finally, Responsible-"having a capacity for moral decisions and therefore, accountable". I have taken my leadership and volunteer positions seriously and strive to make a difference in my schools and on my teams as both a player and as Captain. I would like to
find a school that embodies those values along with my desire to play hockey, the game has been my life since the age of 3 years old. I will bring those values, my desire and skill as a player and bring that as a "team member" not just an individual player. There is nothing more exciting than finding another player who knows how you think and what you will do; a chemistry unlike any other. I love to solve problems and have found a love for physics and Engineering,  Electrical or Civil Engineering. I would like to find a small school ( less than 10,000) or a moderate size school with a small school atmosphere.
