I have been fortunate enough to be golfing since I was five years old. Although I have been playing golf for many years, I did not begin to compete in golf until high school. I have been working with a swing coach to work on my form and began to compete in tournaments. My golfing has improved tremendously from my Freshman year until now.
I believe that to truly excel good form is needed. I am fortunate to have a great coach and then I work hard to perfect what I learn. In Wisconsin this means a space heater in the garage, a golf net and mirror. I try to have fun when I golf and keep a sense of humor as my team practices and in tournaments. I enjoy having fun with my team mates and also being a leader and encouraging them to be their best. I am an extremely hard worker and am able to play well in pressure situations. I like to think about what I can do to make my high school team better as a whole.
My dream is to be able to play golf at a high level in college, as well as pursue an engineering degree. I would like to be able to leverage my hard work in high school athletics, academics and my job and to continue to play golf and to study at a strong academic school.
