I am currently a sophomore and on the golf team at Bellevue College, Bellevue, WA. I played in every tournament my freshman year. However, I have not played in a single tournament my sophomore year due to a hip injury, which I have fought through since 2014. Finally my hip injury was diagnosed correctly and I am now back to 100%. My game is also back to an elite performance level. Right now, if I don’t play my sophomore year I will have 3 years of eligibility left and I would like to move on to the next level of college golf. Problem that I face now is not having the recent scores to show. I realize that for me to go to the next level, I would need a coach to believe in me the way I believe in myself.
I have always loved the game of golf and I love the challenge that the game provides. I started playing golf because my grandpa played and he gave me my first set of clubs. I started playing competitive golf when I was 11 years old and have played in many different tournaments throughout the Pacific Northwest. What I bring to a college team is the knowledge of golf, experience and a positive winning attitude. I have had to overcome many obstacles and I am now on the right track to success.
I would appreciate you giving me a chance to prove myself, once again. I look forward to hearing from you.
