Justin Moore '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Justin Moore, I am a 5'9 130 pound senior at Northwood High School. I started out as an 8th grader on the Junior Varsity team and immediately moved up to varsity my freshman year. I have never missed a golf match in my entire high school career, I have also qualified for every match since my first match of my freshman year. I am a hardworking student as well, I maintain a 3.8 GPA and a part of the Honors Club at my school. I have always wanted to pursue a successful career in golf. It has been my favorite sport since I started playing at the age of 8 years old. My idol is my now retired varsity head coach, Gary "Peaches" Arnold. He has sculpted me into the golfer I am today by always making sure I have my life pointed in the right direction and pushing me to become a better athelete. Coach Arnold always had a famous quote, "You're only problem in this sport is that six inches between your ears", he would always tell me. That one quote has inspired me to push myself and never give up on a bad round. And no matter how mad I get, to play the course one shot at a time.
