December 2017Personal Statement
Although I have only been playing golf competitively for a few seasons, I have been preparing for years. I have always loved playing golf with my family and I hope that my dedication will afford me the opportunity to continue playing while I pursue my education.
During the past off season, I spent a lot of time working on my short game and course management allowing me to cut several shots off my scoring average. I believe that focus, along with my experience playing other sports, will allow me to contribute to a successful college golf program.
Academically, I maintain a 4+GPA in an advance placed curriculum. Balancing academics and multiple sports has helped me develop time management skills that I believe will be very beneficial as I enter college life as a student athlete.
