Kyle Weitendorf '14 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for visiting my NCSA profile. I look forward to learning more about your university and golf team needs. I graduated from Paul VI Catholic High School in 2013. I started playing golf during my sophomore year and played through senior year.  During my senior year I realized that golf is a true passion of mine and that I am a talented, confident player.  My current handicap is less than 2.  I have played in single day events run by VSGA and have several finishes in the top five.  During my time at Paul VI, I was on the football team, tennis team and was a three-year varsity letterman on the swim team.

I am currently enrolled in Northern Virginia Community College and continue to work on my golf game and studies daily. I finished my first semester with a 3.5 GPA.   My GPA at Paul VI was 2.97 including four years of Math, English, Social Studies, and Science. 

You might be wondering why I chose the community college path, and it’s a good question.  I am very serious about my studies and future after golf but wasn’t excited about just attending a college, I wanted more.  I wanted to compete in golf at the collegiate level.  As you can imagine this was a difficult decision but I thought this was my best opportunity to continue to improve my grades and game.  I am very confident that my approach will benefit my future university and will allow me to accomplish my goals.

I am committed to becoming the very best golfer I can be and will be an asset to your team and more importantly your university.
