October 2015Personal Statement
A major character strength that I have, is my mental endurance. Just one example of this, is during the last round of this year’s state tournament, I was one over going into 16. That is when I birdied the last 3 holes to finish with a 2 under, 70. This mental endurance, carries over to my pitching in baseball. For the last two years in high school, I have been the closing for pitcher, for the JV team.
My academic aspirations, have always been high. Currently I have a 3.6 and I’m enrolled, in the Academy of Finance, at Skyline High School. I am taking accounting, marketing, and economics in hopes of earning 20 college credits in finance, while still attending high school.
I am a team player. I cheer for each teammate's success, while focusing on my own game during tournament play. I would make a great asset to your team, by adding confidence while at the same time exercising humility.
