I am currently a junior at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, Texas. I currently have a 3.8 GPA. During my sophmore year, I played well and won several golf tournaments. The summer before my 9th grade year is when I decided to focus only on golf and start playing competitively. Prior to this I played multiple sports. Many of my competitors have been playing longer than I have, however I work harder than almost anyone else. Most mornings I get up an hour before school starts and work on short game and putting. Then after school ends at 3, I head back out and often practice until dark. I make homework and studying a priority when I get home and I work very hard to be the best I can be and I will not settle for anything less.Outside of school and golf, I am also involved in our local church and we host Young Life at our home every Monday night. Fishing and Hunting are two other true passions of mine and I get lost in the woods any time I can. I am interested in a school that offers a great education as well as a successful golf program. I have not made a final decision on my major, but at this point I plan on majoring in business with a concentration in real estate.
