Ever since I started playing golf at the age of 14 I have dreamed of playing in college. Spending as much time on the range and course as I could, I taught myself the game and the mechanics, with no instruction whatsoever (besides the golf channel). I worked myself down to a 3, and started taking lessons for the first time in my life about 2 months ago. Since then my handicap has dropped to a 0.6. So I feel that I have a lot of room for imporovement. The only other thing I have put as much work and effort into are my grades. I have always strived to be the best student that I can be, and I am very proud of both my academics and golf. Those points of pride also show my work ethic, I spend about 30 hours a week on the course while maintaining my grades. I am willing to put in as much and more work than is required of me.
