Benjamin Snelgrove '17 Recruiting Profile

The game of golf was introduced to me at a young age.  I made my high school varsity team as a freshman, and that event changed my outlook on golf.  My sophomore year our high school team placed third at district and was unable to compete at the next level.  That is when I committed to being a better golfer, student, and family member.  

As a junior, I was determined to improve for my team and myself.  My scoring average improved and I was a Regional Qualifier as an individual.  For my senior year, I am looking to continue to improve my scoring average and help my team get to the next level.  I would like to compete at the state level and improve my position/ranking in the STPGA circuit.  

I maintain a 4.0 GPA and I work at a golf course part time throughout the entire year.  I believe my mental and physical outlook on the game is on the right track to allow me to compete at the next level.  I hope to find a school that will allow me to continue to play competitive golf and pursue my career goals.
