Omar Ramirez '13 Recruiting Profile

I LOVE GOLF! I have been hitting a golf ball since I was 4 years old when my grandfather introduced me to the game. I also played baseball, football and basketball until I became a freshman in high school when I decided to concentrate on golf. During my summers, I attend golf clinics and I am a member of the West Texas Junior Champions Tour so I can continue competion play year round. I am excited about being a senior this year and I am working hard at keeping up my GPA. I play percussion for my school's band and I also am a Junior Firefighter for our local volunteer fire department. My short term goals are to win district as an individual, place top 2 at regionals, and advance to the state championship. I want to be a team leader and motivate my team mates to play their best, enjoy the game and have fun. My biggest goal is to play college golf. That would be the biggest accomplishment in my life. I want my school to remember me as a true gentleman of the game.
