Personal Statement

I have been playing golf since the age of 5 yrs. old. I play for Coronado HS. in El Paso, TX. as a 16 yr. old Junior. I love the game of golf and for sure I want to play in college. My stroke average has improved significantly every year since I started tracking at the age of 10. In the AJGA, summer of 2012 my stroke average was 73.3 with finishes of 13th,16th,18th & 21st. In the first High School tournament of my Jr. year (Sept. 2012) I shot (-8) 70-66--136, @ (6773 yard par 72 & 7320 yard par 72) finished 2nd, 2 strokes off the lead. I am a good student with a 3.6 gpa. I am excited about my future in college golf & hope you will be too! PS. Thru 18 rounds & 9 high school tournaments this fall & spring my stroke avg. Is 72.78 Won district 5-1A, 75-69, 144, par 72/6980. My player history for 2012-13 & 2013-2014 is included in my profile.
