Personal Statement

All my life I have played sports competitively but I started golf 3 months before my freshman year in High School so I have been playing just over 3 years. My average my freshman year was around 88. My average my sophomore year was around 82. My average my junior year was around 77. My average this summer is around 75.  I have had a couple bad days but i always come back with a better score.I am a very passionate golfer and i work harder and try to get better everyday. I have a great personality and many friends in and outside of golf. I can promise you that I will be your number one player by my senior year. My dream is to keep advancing in my game and eventually turn pro. I started allot laters than others but I will not let that hold me back. I decided at the end of last year to not play for my high school team because it would no longer benefit me any further. I am focusing on league tournaments with a bigger and more competitive field. With that decision I will be getting out 4 hours earlier out of school which will enable me to get better and longer practices. I take swing lessons once to twice a week with Scott Olsen from Bay Oaks Country Club. He has furthered my physical and mental game tremendously in the past 12 months while i have been working with him.

I played well the second and third day but I couldn't get the putter working as well as i would have like. I hit 14 greens both the 2nd and 3rd day.
