August 2014Personal Statement
I am finishing my Junior year at Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Texas, where I have played on the varsity golf team since my Freshman year and competed at the state championship my Sophomore year. Not only have I excelled in my golf game, but I have been able to maintain a GPA of 4.3 as well as achieving other academic and athletic accomplishments.
In addition to competing for Deer Park, I have played in a number Houston Golf Association tournaments and Southern Texas PGA Tournaments where I have been very successful. I have also attended several camps and clinics to continue to improve my game both physically and mentally. Even though I plan to concentrate on golf in college, I have enjoyed a variety of other training and competitive experience from playing junior high basketball and Little League baseball and football.
I am very interested in being a team member and leader for a competitive NCAA Division I, II, or III golf program. Please let me know if there is any additional information or video footage of my game you are interested in reviewing. Thank you very much for your consideration.
