Personal Statement

I moved out to Brock with my family 6 years ago and when I got here they didn't have a 8th grade golf team for me to participate in. I didn't play golf at all my 8th grade year. When I got into high school golf wasn't my first priority for my freshman and sophomore years due to baseball. Summer of my Junior year I decided that golf was the way I wanted to go. I stopped playing baseball and golf became my full time sport. I have been playing golf full time for 2 years. I am currently a Senior at Brock HS in Brock, TX. Currently, I am number 2 on the Varsity golf team at Brock High and 11th in my district. I plan to be in the top 5 by the end of the regular season. I would love to play college golf and then play in the PGA tour someday. I go to the golf course ever day to practice and play golf with friends or just by myself. I would call myself an aggressive player, but I know when to back off and play it safe. Golf has become a passion of mine very quickly and I love every aspect of the game and the challenge that comes along with it.
