I first became interested in golf when I was 14 years old. My father is, and my grandparents were avid golfers. I am a member of the Canyon West Golf Club where I practice and play. I am a senior at Brock High School where I am a member of the golf team and also play varsity basketball. I like the game of golf because it allows me to compete against others as well as myself. I enjoy the time on the beautiful courses and the opportunity to compete in tournaments. The process of golf is something that I have learned to embrace which leads to better results. Golf has also taught me how to comfortably converse with people I have never met before, and teaches me patience, fortude, and how to both humbly win and lose a game. I understand that learning the game of golf is a continuing journey, as it not only depends on your level of skill, but keeps your head in the game. 2015 3a TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONS!
