My goal is to play golf at the highest level possible while earning a college degree. I believe I am a good candidate because of my work ethic on the course as well as in the classroom. I put a lot of hard work into my my game during the off season to make sure that I am prepared for the upcoming season. I have been playing competitive golf since I was 11 and have been working to improve every year. As a 15 year old in 2014 I picked up 6 tournament titles including the Saskatchewan Provincial Juvenile Championship, which was won by PGA Tour member Graham Delaet, and the Waskesiu Junior Lobstick becoming the youngest to do so. Something I was most proud of however would be competing in the Saskatchewan Men's Amateur where I finished T19 and was the youngest player in the field of over 100 of the top amateur golfers in the province. The summer of 2015 I believe I played my best golf yet. I finished with a scoring average of 71.50 on the Maple Leaf Junior Tour which was 1st for my age division in the country. I was also 2015 MJT Juvenile Player of the year. I finished t35 at the Canadian Junior Boys and represented Saskatchewan at the Western Canada Summer Games where I finished 7th. The past two years I have finished 2nd on the Golf Saskatchewan Order of Merit. I am going to put a lot of work in over the winter to improve on that and finish 1st next year.
