Personal Statement

I am aspiring to become a member of a NCAA Division 1 college Men's Golf team. I am a strong candidate because I believe that when the time comes, I will have the needed talent, potential, experience, and skills to be on a Division 1 Men's Golf team. I am different from other recruits in that I have focused on golf more than any other hobby or sport. Golf has always been my focus and I have wanted nothing more than to reach my full potential as a golfer, and ultimately become a professional golfer. Another reason why I am different from other recruits is that I have immense passion and enthusiasm for golf. I don't just play the sport because I think I'm good at it. I play it because I truly enjoy it and see it as a constant challenge. Also, I have confidence in myself and a great work ethic. I have never given up on my dream of becoming a professional golfer, and I try my hardest to practice and play as often as possible. In addition, I have always held high academic standards, I have always taken school very seriously, and I have always succeeded in school, and my GPA strongly reflects that.
