December 2017 Personal Statement
Hi Coaches
My name is Peter and I am a freshman. My goals are to play collegiate golf, and earn a degree in the field of my study.
I am a highly motivated and disciplined student-athlete. My career goal is to assume a role which allows me to continue taking on responsibility and leadership. My work ethic is clearly visible in my results both on and off the course as well as at school . The highlight of the my last golf season was winning the Larry Ungerman/Nike National Championship. Where I felt I grew the most was when I came 3rd at the provincial championship. This experience taught me to continue working on my game. I also learned the value of teamwork, commitment, leadership and sacrifice when I had the opportunity to represent Team Canada East at the Graham DeLeat Cup & Championship in Saskatchewan earlier this year.
Outside of golf and school, I enjoy spending time with my family and I am very fortunate to have a family who supports me. I enjoy fishing, volleyball, basketball and soccer. Oddly enough as a Canadian, I do not play hockey but I enjoy watching a good hockey game and you may even find me cheering on the Washington Capitals on a Saturday night!
