October 2015Personal Statement
My name is Parker Rehorn from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am currently a senior at Union High School. I consider myself hard working and dedicated. I practice as much as possible and am willing to give up my free time to improve my game, while staying committed to my education.
At the present time I am 6ft 4in and weigh around 170 pounds. I have played golf for Union since middle school and will continue until I graduate. As a student, I am focused and devoted. I am taking 3 AP classes while maintaining a 3. 7 GPA which gives me the opportunity to be involved with the National Honor Society. Recently, I have taken the ACT for the second time and I got a 27. I am currently ranked in the top 10% of my class. Although my education is very important to me, being involved and helping with school activities also ranks high on my priority list.
My current handicap is +1.4 but I hope to improve on that this upcoming year. I will strive for excellence in golf and education with a positive attitude and an open mind. I aspire to be the best college athlete that I can be.
