Nicholas Brenner '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicholas Brenner, and I am senior attending Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, North Carolina where I am a 4 year member of the varsity golf team. For the last 2 years I have served as team captain and was named to the All-Conference team for the 2009-2010 season. I currently carry a +.8 handicap and my low tournament round was a 70 at Pinehurst Country Club course #1 in February of 2010. Academically, I have a 3.55 (weighted) GPA and recently scored a 1640 (combined) on the SAT. I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue playing competitive golf in college and am open to explore opportunities at all divisions. I am looking for a college where I can obtain a degree in the business or accounting field. Although I live in North Carolina, I am open to exploring schools through out East Coast. Ideally I would like to be at a school with a good balance between the classroom and the golf program. An outstanding academic reputation and the opportunity to make a contribution early in my career is very important to me.
