Six years ago I began playing golf and have since found it to be my total passion. I enjoy every aspect of the game, including the challenges, the discipline required and the hours of practice involved in order to master the sport. My motivation stems from the fact that improvements can always be made and I have displayed a consistent work ethic that goes along with meeting my goals. I love playing on the high school golf team and know that I contribute a great deal to the morale and success of the team.
The team aspect of the sport in high school has become as important to me as my individual drive to be the best. The thought of doing well and not letting my teammates down has become a major part of my success. I have been steadily improving over the last few years and have worked hard on a daily basis to continue to grow with the game. I am the captain of my high school golf team and look forward to the responsibilities of that role. Fortunately, my years in Student Government have helped develop my leadership skills as I move forward.
I am currently the Vice President of the Student Body at Carolina Day School.
For these same reasons, I desire to play on a college team. As I continue my strong approach to training and practice at the college level, in order to succeed, I need to be a part of a program where everyone is motivated and works together. I want to excel with a team that strives to be “the very best.” I love the integrity and excitement of the game and whenever possible I am on the course every day working my way to the top!
