It has been my goal to be a collegiate athlete since I began playing sports. I do not want to be labeled as just an "athlete", but as a "student athlete". Throughout college I plan on bettering myself as a student as well as an athlete, and that is one thing that I believe sets me apart from many other collegiate athletes. Another attribute that I have that many other athletes do not have is time management. I always find the time to juggle sports, friends, school and family, and give each of them the time that they need. I also have the perseverance to overcome nearly any obstacle that is thrown at me, whether it is a big math test or a difficult hole on the links, I know that I have the perseverance to defeat it with success. The most important attribute I possess is my desire to succeed. From day one I was taught by my parents to work as hard as I possibly could at any task thrown at me and I will succeed; to this day I take that thought into consideration no matter what the task is. Between my hard work in the classroom and my dedication to golf, I believe that I am a good candidate to be a collegiate athlete.
