Personal Statement

I am a rising senior, 5'11" golfer from Glen Rock, NJ and have played on the Bergen Catholic High School varsity team since Freshman year. In May of this year I placed 8th in the Tournament of Champions with an even par score of 72. I earned 1st Team All North Jersey, 2nd Team All State, along with 1st Team All County. I have a 3.7 GPA and a 26 ACT score (Highest-English 30, Math 29, Science 25, Reading 22).

I am looking for a institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and golf course. My plan is to attend a school with a strong academic reputation in the field of biology as I'm interested in pursuing a career in scientific research. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I can make an immediate impact on the team.
