My goals and aspirations are to become a golf player on the collegiate level while pursuing a career in computer engineering/science or programming. Since falling in love with a sport that I have only been playing for four years and competitively for two years, I have made tremendous progress in such a short period of time including T7 at the IMG Northeast Championship as well as 3rd place at the NJPGA event at Ramsey Golf Club. Continuous training, outdoor practicing and playing during the northeast winter months has definitely help in my progression. My current average overall score is 79 with my personal best score of 72 coming at Tamarack West Golf Course - 7,025-yard, par-72 championship course featuring four par-3 holes, 10 par-4s and four par-5s, and a 76 at Rutgers University Golf Course and Flanders Valley golf course. I have worked hard al throughout this season to improve my short game in order to lower my scores.
Golf is a sport that teaches you life skills and these very same life skills can be applied towards attaining my educational and career goals as well as becoming an overall well rounded individual.
