I am a junior at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft N.J. I have been a member of the golf team since freshman year. Our team has been undefeated in head to head matches for these past 3 years. We were State champions in 2011, runners up in States last year and recaptured our overall state title again this year on May 20. I won the very competitive Shore Conference title last year shooting a 69 along with winning the team conference title where we shot 288 as a team. I have played in 13 of our 14 school matches this year and my cumulative score to par for the season is -2.
I have local, regional, and national tournament experience as I have played in AJGA, IJGT, and various other tournaments and qualifiers in the past few years. (See profile). I have played in several AJGA tournaments on the east coast this summer in addition to numerous other national tournaments and qualifiers.
I am looking forward to playing college golf at a challenging academic institution where the school's golf program is both competitive and serious. I am a hard worker both in my studies and at the practice range. I currently practice just about every day for at least 2-3 hours a day. I have sessions with my swing coach, Bill Britton, on a regular basis to keep my game sharp in addition to working with a golf fitness coach, Scott Riehl, who has me on a "golf specific" workout program. My passion for the game of golf is enormous which drives me to try to perfect my game at every level. Academically, my gpa for my freshman and sophomore years is approximately 3.4. My grades have greatly improved in my junior year and I plan on boosting my gpa up to around 3.6 after including my junior year. I scored 1900 on my SAT exam.
