December 2013Personal Statement
I started playing golf seriously about 3 years ago. Before that, I had been big into playing baseball. Within a year of really starting to play seriously, I got my handicap down from about a 10 to a 4 and shot a 65 (-7) at my home course. This really proved to me that I have what it takes to be one of the best golfers in the nation with lots of hard work and determination. Since then, with lots of hard work and patience, I am now between a +0.5 and a 0.5 HCP. I am working hard to get this number even lower.
I am very committed to improving my game. I love playing golf and I believe that I will one day play at golf's highest level and am eager for the opportunity to learn and grow through an elite college golf program.
