Jackson Purdy '15 Recruiting Profile

What makes me different from the rest of the candidates is that I know how to train without being on the course. When you live in northern Minnesota, there are things that you have to do in the winter months to maintain a good foundation to your game, and I learned these things at a young age. Also, being on the varsity golf team at my high school since I was in eighth grade has given me valuable experience with the pressure of the game and how to keep up with school work. I also have the drive to win and I will do anything and everything to succeed whether it is on the golf course or in the class room. I am very responsible. This is shown by my boss at the golf course giving me the job of running our Junior League that had 90 kids in it. I was also named captain of my golf team for the 2014-2015 season.
