Paul Bardenhagen '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paul Bardenhagen; I am currently a senior at Leland Public School. I am very interested in attending Your School as a student and potentially as a collegiate golfer. I am looking into finding a school with an excellent mathematics program, as well as a competitive golf team.

 

Early in my high school career I had some outstanding accomplishments. Freshmen year I ended a great season by qualifying for the state finals. I shot 74 on day one, which was my lowest round up to that point. I continued to succeed my sophomore year as well; my favorite match was when I was playing head to head against Joey Garber. I shot a 72 that day and lost to Garber by three strokes. I was named to the All-State team based on my performances. My best showing in my junior season was shooting a three-under 69 in Cascade-Lumen Tournament in Jackson, Michigan. This tournament consisted of top ranked teams from Division 1 and 3, and some of the best players in the state. That was an honor to earn medalist for this tournament.

  

Currently in my senior year I have been medalist two times, shooting a 71 and 67. I shot a 67 at a local Invitational with many division one schools and players. I've also recently added distance to all my clubs which has helped tremendously in scoring and overall play. I still continue to work hard at putting and chipping around the green to ensure my low scores. I am soon to graduate from Leland High School and look forward to the next chapter in my life. I also look forward to playing college golf, to spend time with my teammates along with playing in a very competitive enviornment.
