Events

  • Camp/Event
  • Commonwealth Coast Conference Qualifier
  • 10/04/16 to 10/04/16
  • College Tournament: Posted a 78 (+6) in the wind. Had a triple on a par 4 which hurt my score. Added a team-best score for UNE that day.
  • Camp/Event
  • Week One - High School Matches
  • 9/08/15 to 9/10/15
  • At our opening match, at Sagamore Springs, I shot +1 which tallied 34 quota points for my team. The next two days at Amesbury Country Cub, our home course, I shot +1 then +2. The +1 equaled 34 quota points and the +2 would be 33 quota points. Our AHS golf team won every match going 3-0 beating teams by an average of 52 quota points.
  • Camp/Event
  • Nepga
  • 8/10/15 to 8/10/15
  • Shot a 77 for the event which allowed me to come in 2nd in my division.
  • Camp/Event
  • Challenge Cup
  • 7/27/15 to 7/28/15
  • Par 70. The course was in perfect condition and the greens were fast. The first day I went +5 then +3 to shoot a total of 78 for day one, and the second day I shot +10 and +1 for a total of 81 leaving me with a grand total of 159. That would be good enough for 17th in the tournament that held 34 boys. Putting was my main issue as the quick speed of the greens made putting very difficult if above the hole. I played decent to end the tournament which left a good mark.
  • Camp/Event
  • NEPGA
  • 7/21/15 to 7/21/15
  • Par 71, went +7 on the front nine and +1 on the back for a total of an 8 over 79. Placed tied for 4th.
  • Camp/Event
  • AJGA
  • 7/16/15 to 7/16/15
  • Shot 8 over to conclude at an 80. Came in 12th place of 46 boys. The front was tough which tacked on 7 strokes over par as the less challenging back nine I was more comfortable on only being 1 over par. What caused my score to be rather high was my driving off the tee (With driver, 3wood, 4iron, etc.) being inconsistent as the tight layout made approach shots tough. Not a bad day otherwise however.
  • Camp/Event
  • Elite Tour
  • 6/30/15 to 7/01/15
  • Came in 5th place with a score of an 82. I was -2 though the first 7 holes for which my round went downhill on the back nine. Missing greens was my main problem as the course's hilly landscape made chipping very difficult. The second day of the tournament was called off due to severe thunderstorms that took place that day.
  • Camp/Event
  • Qualifier for the PGA Jr. Championship
  • 6/06/15 to 6/06/15
  • Shot an 81 for 18 holes. Par was 71. +8 on the front nine wasn't good at all but came back nicely with a back nine +2 to allow me to finish in 5th of 45. Also I managed to qualify for the PGA Jr. Championship which is being held at Marlborough Country Club, Mass which is a two day tournament that takes place on July 6-7.
