My goals before college are to get down to a .5 handicap. I feel that it is very attainable considering that my average 18-hole score freshmen year was about 110, about 90 sophomore year, and now mid to high seventies. I have enjoyed playing competitively and pride myself on working hard to achieve set goals. I take academics very seriously and had a GPA above 4.0 both sophomore and junior year so far. I am very coachable and very team-related as I have grown up playing team sports but now have committed to golf. I went from not playing a single match freshmen year to qualifying for states both sophomore and junior year and becoming team captain junior year. I am excited to see what college has in store and am willing to work hard in every aspect.
