Jared Toney '14 Recruiting Profile

              Ever since I was in 5th grade I picked up this game called golf; I hated it on the driving range but the first day on the course was heaven. From that day on golf became apart of my life, I dream that one day I will be sponsored either by Titleist, Cleveland or Taylormade, but I know I have to work hard in order for that to happen. But first I hope to be accepted into a college golf team and travel around the country just as my brother has been doing for four years. The highest goal I have is to get a full scholarship to college so that my mother doesn't have to pay for my college, therefore she can pay off bills more quickly that she's had for many years. Making my mother proud and following in her footsteps to go to college and graduate with a bachelor degree then get my masters degree. I also plan on serving my country after college to protect the freedom of Americans so that one day their children can live and prosper in a free country. I wish to become either a transport, fighter or bomber pilot to support the troops on the ground. After the military, if possible I want to join the PGA tour and have a job as being a mechanical engineer but if I play golf well enough I hope to make golf a career. I have a long way to go, but anything is possible as long as you are determined and carry yourself with confidence. Seeing my self winning hundreds of thousands of dollars at tournaments couldn't be a better dream if you ask me.
