My collegiate goals and aspirations are quite simple, I am looking forward to an enriching college education, enhancing it even more would be to play golf at a collegiate level My history in school and sports in impeccable. I have a clean school transcript, I have never had a referral of any kind. I give 100% in everything I do. My teammates and Coaches will all attest to my Sportsmanship, my versatility, my consistency, my level headedness, my ability to "never let them see you sweat" in any condition and my love of the 2 sports I have played throughout my high school years; golf and baseball. I believe what makes me standout, hopefully in a good way, is that I am a self taught golfer. I had never swung a golf club until 7th grade during an interest meeting to play golf in high school. I have a very strong baseball background and golf and its mechanics came very naturally to me. I have had and continue on occasion to get formal lessons but mostly mastered my game on my own. It is now a game I am consumed with and passionate about. I played on a JV level as a Freshman and advanced to Varsity for my remaining 3 years. During those 3 years, as a team, we accomplished 2 undefeated seasons and one loss in another. Earned Bayside Championship, District Championship all 3 years and qualified as a team,2 years, to play in the 3A/4A State Finals qualifying to play on the final day of combined 1A-4A schools taking 5th and 8th place in the state overall. I have always been a team player, I have never complained or felt that I was better than any other player with either of my sports. In golf, you are on your own, you can't blame anyone for your bad round, you are accountable for you. Team comes into the equation when the scores are combined, you can then be accountable for your round. Golf is a game of ups and downs and I have learned to handle myself in the face of both. My teammates and I have always gotten along. I have never had issue with Coaches or players and this makes me a great candidate to play on the college level. Accolades awarded to me from my Coaches in baseball include Most Valuable Player Defense 2 years in a row and the Sportsmanship award Accolades awarded to me from my Coaches in golf include Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, Coaches Award and Sportsmanship Award. I was also awarded All Conference First Team Honors for 2014. I was honored to be awarded these trophies because they are earned for who you are and what you exemplify on the playing field. I am proud to know that my Coaches think that I deserve these mentions. I have a wonderful family that is very supportive of my aspirations and I look forward to this journey and where it will lead me.
